The success of the Italian stage of the SEEDLINER Tour !
The event organized in Italy over two days, began on Saturday 3rd October and gathered 200 dealers and journalists of the technical press. On Sunday 4th October, more than 1 250 farmers attended this national event. The Italian stage of the SEEDLINER Tour took place in Petrignano di Assisi (near Perugia) on the site of the Groupe Migninis’ farm, producer of feedingstuff.
Not only did the organizers of the Italian subsidiary report this day as « efficient and constructive » but so did the participants. After presenting the issues of seeding in Italy, Giacomo DONATACCI, Manager of the subsidiary, and the guests went to the field where the machine demonstrations took place. Paolo CERA, marketing manager and Giacomo GALOTTA presented the machines around 15 workshops.
During half a day, machines and presentations proved that KUHN offers a « seeding solution » for each type of cultivation establishment method. From conventional seeding on ploughed land to minimum cultivation, including direct seeding, as well as combined seeding/soil preparation: dealers and farmers could ascertain the assets of the seed drills and soil preparation tools.
On this occasion, the farm building centre, or « KUHN Village» was the meeting and exchange point between KUHN, the dealers and the farmers.
The goal of this event was reached: present the extensive KUHN seed drill range. The tool performances were directly demonstrated in the field, but also the KUHN know-how in seeding.
The event gave a complete view of the KUHN seed drills which are adapted to all requirements and farm sizes: in particular the 5 m MEGANT tine seed drill, the whole range of drilling combinations COMBILINER, -Venta EC, -Venta LC and –Venta NC up to –Venta BTF, the minimum cultivation seed drills like the Speedliner and also the SDE and SD liner 3000, the precision seed drills MAXIMA and PLANTER and finally the minimum tillage tools Discover and Cultimer.The slogan of the SEEDLINER Tour event in Italian "il vostro seme, la vostra terra, la nostra gamma : una combinazione vincente” summarizes the importance the KUHN Group gives to constructive exchanges with farmers.
